Mt. Batulao and Conquer Trail Run // June 3 to 4, 2017

At Mt. Batolove
It was during the first week of June when we accompanied Rommel and other Ugatans in the 3rd Conquer Jagged Peak, held at Mt. Batulao in Nasugbu, Batangas.  We went to Batangas a day before the race and climbed the mountain dubbed by some as Mt. "Toll-Fee", due to the existence of several registration sites.  The hike was intended to be familiarized with the trail and to serve as a warm-up for the main event.

We had pleasant hiking, green slopes and a combination of sunny and foggy weather... heat and cold.

It was about 3 pm when we reached the jump-off.  We camped at the school which is the starting point of the race.  The family of choi and the brother of Sir Dick arrived during midnight.
