San Jose Balay Alima Orphanage and Aged Home Outreach: A Personal Journal / Album // February 4, 2017

As an old saying goes, "We make a living by what we get; but we make a life by what we give".  Last weekend, together with my hiking and drinking buddies, we went to San Jose Balay Alima, an orphanage and home for the aged located in Indang, Cavite.  More than conquering peaks and discovering natural wonders, another essence of mountain climbing that I've learned from an "old school" hiker during my first Mt. Romelo climb, is Community Immersion.  It was another meaningful weekend...
