Countryside Notebook: Mt. Binacayan Had a Blast!: Dave's Birthday Climb // March 25, 2017

We initially planned to hike Mt. Hapunang Banoi but, during the last minute, I opened up the idea to climb Mt. Binacayan (may souvenir kasi na binigay sakin yung Hapunang Banoi yung inakyat ko siya :P). We ended at the summit of one of the mountains in Rizal, which gave me the boost in hiking. Since this climb was primarily intended to mark the 31st birthday of Dave, I entitled this writing: Mt. Binacayan, had a blast!!.

Who is Dave?

Kristoffer Dave G. Domingo is an office mate, who became one of my travel buddies after a climb in Mt. Daraitan. Other mountains in Rizal that we've conquered as a team were the newly opened before Mt. Paliparan; and Maynoba Circuit with the 7 waterfalls (there is only 1 falls in the whole circuit). I had the opportunity to ventured the province of Romblon, when he invited us in his hometown at San Andres.

His temperamental nature might sometimes put him into troubles; but I'm certain, that he's a person of substance and pure soul (pambawi toh ui!). He might appear strong, but, I was surprised when I learned his weakness....... He's afraid of dog (may kinatatakutan din pala :o...... bluffer nga ba ang tawag dun? :P hehehe)

We did a reverse traverse. Our guide was Shiva, she took the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) the day after our hike. I'm very sure that she will pass :D
